Practical consulting built on real dealership experience.
M@B Consulting was founded on a simple idea: dealerships run better when their finance and administrative operations are designed around how the work actually happens — not how it’s supposed to look on paper.
The experience behind that idea spans more than twenty years and every seat a deal passes through. It starts on the sales floor, runs through F&I learned from the ground up, and carries into more than a decade of sales and finance leadership — working side by side with general managers, sales managers, and sales staff across five rooftops, and alongside more than twenty finance managers.
A specialist practice, not a generalist bench.
We work in one place and know it well: the finance and back-office operations of car dealerships. That focus comes from years of hands-on leadership inside a large dealership group — leading finance operations, modernizing paperwork workflows, and building remote processing systems that scaled across multiple locations.
It means we arrive already understanding the pressures your team is under: paperwork flow, staffing gaps, turnaround expectations, cost control, and the quiet inconsistency that creeps in when every store does things a little differently. We’re not learning your business on your time.
Grounded in what’s actually happening on the floor.
Diagnose before prescribing
We spend time observing the real workflow before recommending changes. Most fixes turn out to be smaller and more targeted than expected.
Build for your team
Improvements only stick when the team can run them without us. Every change is documented and handed off cleanly.
Measure what matters
Faster turnaround, cleaner paperwork, lower overhead. Concrete outcomes, not vanity metrics.
“M@B” stands for “Mediocre at Best.”
It’s a tongue-in-cheek wink — a reminder that nobody, including us, should escape healthy skepticism. We do high-quality work, but we’re allergic to self-importance about it. The wordmark stuck. The standards didn’t change.
If a vendor takes themselves too seriously, you should probably wonder why. We’d rather earn trust through what we deliver than what we claim.
