Refund Policy
Changes in v1.2.0 (2026-08-22): the non-expiry and unused-purchase refund terms now say plainly that they cover every kind of credit you can buy — Assistant question packs and standalone report rebuild packs alike. This states what has always been the case; no term has been narrowed.
Changes in v1.1.0 (2026-08-18): added the refund terms for the $149 remediation report and advisor session. The credit-purchase terms below are unchanged.
Credits do not expire
Purchased credits do not expire — they remain available until you use them. This applies to every credit you can buy from us, whether Assistant question packs or standalone report rebuild packs.
Refunds
Refunds are available only for credit purchases that are entirely unused — again, Assistant question packs and standalone report rebuild packs alike. If none of the credits from a purchase have been consumed, you may request a full refund of that purchase within 7 days of purchase, to the original payment method, via consulting@matb.ai. Once any credit from a purchase has been used, that purchase is no longer refundable, in whole or in part.
Remediation report and advisor session
Remediation report and advisor session ($149): refundable on request within 7 days of purchase if the report has not been delivered and the advisor session has not been started. Once the report is delivered or the session begun, the purchase is not refundable, except that if a technical fault on our side prevents delivery of the report or use of the session, we will restore access or refund the purchase, your choice.
Technical faults
If a technical fault on our side consumes credits without delivering answers, we restore the credits or refund them, your choice — and credits consumed by such a fault do not count as used for refund eligibility. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot be waived under California law.
